Twenty strangers are invited to a house on a tea estate above Munnar.
The woman who invited them died six weeks ago. It was ruled an accident.
They come anyway. It was already arranged.
You arrive with a name that isn't yours, a family you've never met, and one thing you're not telling anyone.
Every night, the house names one of you. By the last morning, you know what happened to her. And who everyone in that house actually is.

- No alcohol and no smoking, anywhere on the property.
One night in the house.
Times are approximate. The house doesn't keep a schedule.
- The power goes. Every room at once, for forty seconds.
- Three knocks on the door of room four. Room four is empty.
- The radio in the hall comes on by itself. Same song as last night.
- A name, written in the steam on the bathroom mirror.
- Twenty-one chairs at the table. There were twenty at dinner.
- Sunrise. Breakfast is at eight. Nobody brings up the night before coffee.
Some of it is the crew. Some of it is one of you. Working out which is the game.
Startled, yes. Hurt, never. Nobody touches you without asking, and you can step out of anything.
There are five rules in the house. Here are four.

No. Most people come alone. That is how this works.
Every batch is balanced, women and men, by a person who reads every request. Nobody is told who else is coming, so nobody arrives with a group already formed. A crew is awake every night, trained in first aid. You can step out of anything, at any point, and nobody asks why.
Your ₹999 comes back if you change your mind within 7 days, and in full if we don't take you. After you've paid in full: 90% back 30 days or more before your batch, 50% between 15 and 29 days, nothing after that. You can move to another batch once, free, up to 15 days before. If we ever cancel, everything comes back, without you asking.
You'll be startled. You won't be hurt, and nobody touches you without asking. The scares are at night, in the house. Days are Munnar.
Everything that happens in the house is made by us, for you, and rehearsed. Knowing that helps less than you'd think.
You answer one thing in front of everyone, and then you play on. Nobody is ever out.
