The terms of the room.
These are the terms for everything Vibe Living runs. They are written to be read. When you make a request, lock a seat or pay, you agree to them.
Last updated 13 October 2026
01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Vibe Living, of Bengaluru, India (“we”, “us”). They cover the website vibeliving.in, the member portal, and every chapter, series, stay or team day we run. A chapter page, a booking confirmation or a written proposal may add details for that one thing. Where they differ from these terms, the more specific one applies.
You must be 18 or over to make a request, and you must give us true details. A seat is for the person whose request we accepted.
02Requests
Making a request is not a booking. A person reads every request and decides who is placed in which room, balancing each one by hand. We may accept, hold or decline any request. We are not obliged to give a reason, and we will always tell you where you stand.
A request can be accepted, put on a list for a room that is full, or offered a different batch. A seat is yours only once you have locked it and we have confirmed it in writing.
03Locking a seat, and paying
- Locking: ₹999 locks a seat once your request is accepted. It is the first part of the price, not an extra fee.
- The rest: the remaining amount is due within 7 days of the day we confirm your seat. If it is not paid by then, we may release the seat to the next person. The ₹999 is then refunded only as set out under Refunds.
- Prices are in Indian rupees and include the taxes shown at checkout. What a price includes, and what it does not, is listed on the chapter page. Travel to the pickup point is not included unless the chapter page says so.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. Where a payment limit means a balance has to be taken in parts, the total does not change.
- Prices can change before you pay. They do not change for a seat you have locked.
04Refunds and cancellations
If we cancel: you get back everything you paid, without asking, within 7 working days, to the account you paid from. If we cancel a batch, we may also offer you a seat in another one, and you choose between the seat and the refund. This applies whatever the reason, including permits, weather, safety or too few people.
If we don't accept your request: the ₹999 comes back in full, without you asking.
If you cancel within 7 days of paying the ₹999: it is refunded in full. Ask from the portal or reply to any email from us. No reason needed.
After those 7 days, and until you pay the rest, the ₹999 is not refundable.
If you cancel after paying in full, the refund is on everything you paid, including the ₹999:
- 30 days or more before the chapter starts: we refund 90% of what you paid.
- 15 to 29 days before: we refund 50%.
- Less than 15 days before, or if you do not arrive: no refund.
Instead of cancelling, you may ask to move to another batch of the same chapter once, if a seat is free, up to 15 days before your batch starts. You may also ask us to pass your seat to someone else; their request is read like any other, and the seat is theirs only if we accept it.
Refunds go back to the account you paid from. Your bank may take a few more days to show them. We are not responsible for travel, leave or anything else you booked around a chapter, so book changeable travel where you can.
05What can change
We do not publish itineraries, and what happens during a chapter is deliberately not told in advance. To keep everyone safe, or when something outside our control happens, we may change the plan, the order of days, activities, timings, vehicles or the place you stay, for one of equal standard, without notice. A change like this is not a cancellation and does not give a right to a refund.
If something outside anyone’s control (a natural event, a public health order, a strike, a government action, a road closure) stops a chapter from running at all, we treat it as a cancellation by us.
06Your health, and the risks
Our chapters take place in real places, often remote ones, and include walking, uneven ground, cold or heat, nights with little sleep, and time far from a hospital. Some series use darkness, sudden sounds and staged scenes on purpose. By taking a seat you confirm that you are fit to take part, and that you have told us, before you arrive, about any condition, medication or allergy that could affect you or the people around you.
- Every chapter runs with a crew trained in first aid and an emergency plan. We are not a medical provider.
- You must follow safety instructions from the crew at all times. Anyone can stop any activity for themselves, at any point, with no penalty.
- We may stop you from taking part in an activity, or in the chapter, if we believe it is unsafe for you or others.
- We strongly recommend travel and medical insurance. Unless a chapter page says otherwise, it is your responsibility.
- You take part understanding these risks. You are responsible for your own belongings.
07Conduct
Rooms work because everyone in them is safe. Inside, these are not negotiable:
- No harassment of any kind, physical, verbal or online, during or after a chapter.
- No illegal drugs, no weapons, and nothing that puts anyone in danger.
- No alcohol and no smoking anywhere on the premises during a chapter, unless that chapter's page says otherwise.
- Respect the places we stay, the people who live there, and their rules.
- Respect code names. Do not reveal another member’s real name or details without their consent.
If someone breaks these, we may remove them from the chapter and from future ones, with no refund, and we may involve the police. You are responsible for any damage you cause.
08Code names, photographs and the plot
You choose your code name. We may refuse one that is offensive, belongs to someone else, or could identify you. Your member number is yours and cannot be passed to another person.
We photograph and film chapters, and we own what we record. We never publish a recognisable photograph of you without your consent, and we credit people by code name.
Take as many photographs as you like of yourself and the places. Do not publish other members’ faces or real names without their consent, and please do not publish what happens in the plot. A chapter only works for the next twenty people if they do not know the middle. If something you post reveals it, or identifies another member, we may ask you to take it down.
09Corps
A team day or stay through Corps is governed by the written proposal we agree with your company. These terms apply to everything that proposal does not cover. Every person who attends is bound by Your health, Conduct and Code names above.
10The website
The words, photographs, film, marks and design on vibeliving.in belong to Vibe Living or are used with permission. You may share links and screenshots. You may not copy the site, scrape it, or use our name or marks to suggest an association that does not exist.
We work to keep the site accurate and available. It is provided as it is, and we are not responsible for sites we link to.
11The limits of our responsibility
We are responsible for running what you booked with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything connected with a chapter is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost earnings or other bookings.
Transport, stays and services from other businesses are provided by them, under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, though we will always help you deal with them. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
You agree to cover any loss we suffer because you broke these terms or the law during a chapter.
12Law, disputes and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, write to us first; most things are fixed in one reply. Any dispute that cannot be settled that way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a seat is the one in force when you locked it.
Grievances: Mumin Bhat, grievance officer, mumin.bhat@vibeliving.in. We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days.
